Visit to the Bekonscot Model Village

Details
Bekonscot in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, is the oldest original model village in the world. It shows aspects of England mostly dating from the 1930s. Bekonscot was first created in the 1920s by a Beaconsfield resident, Roland Callingham (1881–1961). There are a number of model railways running all round the village, including a ride-on train.
Our visit starts at Marylebone station, where we catch the train to Beaconsfield, which takes about 30 minutes. Our entry to the Village will be timed for soon after our arrival, and you will have plenty of time to explore all areas.
After lunch there will be an optional walk in the countryside around Beaconsfield with information about the area. Or else take it easy and wander around the town.
