Day trip to the Winchester Christmas Market

Winchester is a city in the south of England. In the 9th century it was the capital of Saxon England under King Alfred the Great. It is also the location of the oldest public school in the country; Winchester College.

In December, the Christmas Market is held around the magnificent cathedral and you will get a real sense of a traditional British Christmas as you do your shopping!
