Day trip to Southend

Southend is a seaside town in the county of Essex, to the east of London. It’s only an hour away by train, which makes it a popular place to go for a day trip. We meet at Liverpool Street station then take the train from there. After a quick tour of the town we finish at the Sea Life Centre, to which entry is included. You'll then have free time to spend on the beach or perhaps have a walk on the pier, which, at 2km, is the longest in the world.
