Steam engines weren't invented to power trains.
Or ships.
Or factories.

The steam engine was invented in 1551 by Taqui al-Din to rotate meat for roasting. This proved once and for all, the scientific fact that food is more delicious when it goes around and around in a circle.

Over 400 years later, in 1958, Yoshiaki Shiraishi decided to apply this theory to sushi, when he created the first revolving sushi bar in Tokyo.

In 2012, May Lin brought that concept of conveyer belt sushi to University City, but I'm afraid they were before their time. The "Tokyo Seafood Buffet" closed down two years later.

In December, Anthony Wang is making another valiant attempt to convince the people of University City that sushi should go around and around in a circle, and I think this time we're ready for it.

Lets good check it out and do our own applied research into this phenomenon.
