• Lo que haremos
Hey everyone,
After a long break, we are back! 🎉 Let me start this post saying THANKS to everyone for the amazing year we had. We started this project, and our first goal was to reunite a group of people with same interest. During that time, we have met at different meet ups, talked about different good topics, learned a lot, and what's also important is that we have found new friends 💪🏻.
This time we will use the new offices (incredible ones) from Gronda. We are super happy to announce two great talks. The first one is a deep review of React 16 from Ray Roman in his talk "My Super Sweet 16: React Edition". Ray works as front-end dev at Gronda. The second talk will be a lightning talk (about 15min) by Bernhard Mayr where he will introduce us to Cycle.js, so be prepare for a little mind shift... 🚀and be prepared for a small surprise at the end! we will include another lightning talk, but the topic, you will discover it :D
- Abstract -My Super Sweet 16: React Edition
Our lovable, bratty, sometimes snobbish and sometimes sweet framework that we’ve all come to love turns the big 1-6. That’s right! With some sugar and spice and everything nice we’re celebrating React v16. Learn about some of the cool new presents that React v16 brings to the development party, like fragments, portals, and better error handling. Don’t forget to RSVP ASAP!
- Abstract - Cycle.js
Introduction to Cycle.js
Our journey to Cycle.js will take us from pure functions via declarative code combined with a reactive approach to inversion of control leading into streams and observables.
In a 15-minutes lightning talk I am gonna try to show you what a completely different approach to human computer interaction can offer us developers in terms of tools and how a framework solely built on streams can work even without things like JSX, setState(...) or shouldComponentUpdate(...).
Spread the word and see you on March 29th!
