〜 What to expect
We'll meet at Okūma for a discussion circle around the ideas explored in This Is Water.

Okūma will have a special menu exclusively for our group that includes the private use of the space and unlimited tea for 2,000 HUF, to be paid at the venue.

It's a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Budapest's most unique
tea houses while enjoying good company and meaningful connection.

We'll begin with a short introduction before opening the conversation. While the discussion is free-flowing, we'll also have a selection of questions to guide us
through the themes of the speech and help us to reflect.

There are no right or wrong interpretations, and you don't need to have any
background in philosophy or literature.
You're welcome to simply listen if that's what feels comfortable. Sharing is always optional.

To make the discussion richer for everyone, please take around 20 minutes beforehand to listen to or read the speech.

〜 Why discuss it?
This Is Water invites us to reflect on questions that are surprisingly relevant in our everyday lives such as How much of our day do we spend on autopilot? How do we become more aware of the experiences and people around us? And much more.

〜 Contribution
To help make the unplugged club Budapest more sustainable, this discussion circle will have a small 750 HUF participation fee.

We've found that a small commitment helps create a group of people who are genuinely interested in the topic, intend to show up, and want to contribute to building an intentional community where meaningful conversations can happen.

If paying through Revolut or card, please include your name and "01/08 discussion" in the payment note. Once we receive your payment, we'll add you to the attendee list on Meetup.

◦ A quick warm up at Szabadság bridge (exact location will be sent to attendees)
◦ A 5km route (~between 6 and 7:00 min/km pace).
◦ After the run, we’ll hang out at Nor/ma Grand for some coffee or beverage of your choice.

We've found that a small contribution encourages people to sign up intentionally and helps create a group of people who genuinely plan to attend and be part of the community.
