CTCS Presents Violin & Piano with Baranov and Gugnin

On Saturday 21st June, The Cape Town Concert Series celebrates it’s 70th year of music making with a special concert featuring two of Europes most exciting performers.

Violinist Andrey Baranov and pianist Andrey Gugnin are both established solo musicians in their own right but form a formidable duo – and we are lucky that they are both performing in South Africa on concerto tours at the same time.

They will play an exhilerating programme of works by Szymanowski, Shostakovich and Strauss at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall, Rondebosch.

These morning concerts are the perfect start to the weekend running from 11am to around 12.30. As I organise these concerts I am not able to arrange a formal Meetup but please feel free to organise one or come on your own- concerts are the best for being part of a common crowd without any pressure.
