The Cape Town Concert Series celebrates its 70th year with a chamber music concert featuring Friends in Music - Johanna Roos on violin, pianist José Dias and clarinettist David Cyster (stepping in for Junnan Sun who is unable to fly to South Africa at this time)
The concert takes place on Saturday 20th September, at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall.

The audience will be taken on a journey through diverse musical landscapes. On the programme is:
Brahms – Violin and Piano Sonata in A major, Op.100,
Schumann – Three Fantasy Pieces, Op.73,
Darius Milhaud – Suite for Clarinet, Violin and Piano, Op. 157b
Khachaturian – Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano.

As always the Baxter bar is open for coffee and drinks which can be taken into the hall to enjoy along with the music.

Tickets available from Webtickets and at the door.

These morning concerts are the perfect start to the weekend running from 11am to around 12.30. As I organise these concerts I am not able to arrange a formal Meetup but please feel free to organise one or come on your own- concerts are the best for being part of a common crowd without any pressure. And please come and say hello - I will be at a table in the foyer where you can collect your complimentary programme.

If you have any queries about this or any concert I am on whatsapp 084 682 1337
