Unreal Engine 4 - 2019 - January Meetup

Hey everyone,

we hope you all started well into the new year. We finally had some time to plan the upcoming Meetup!

First of all, we are currently looking into a new venue. We will remain in Düsseldorf, however we want to make sure that the venue, as it being a big part of our Meetup, is nice and welcoming for all of you.
While all of this is happening, we decided to make sure that everything is planned out properly. We are returning to the A&O Hosts for now while further setting up the new venue.

Speaking of talks: We should have talks for the upcoming Meetup!

Here is a rough schedule for the evening:

19:00 (7PM) - KICK OFF:

Short introduction round for new and old members.
Some general news and discussions about UE4 and the Meetup.

19:30 (7:30PM) - TALKS:

#1 Christian Albrecht - "Golf It! behind the scenes"

Christian Albrecht will talk about his journey of making "Golf It!", a fun multiplayer minigolf game, including some numbers and facts about using Steam along the way. He'll also be open to answer a lot of question, so make sure to prepare some!

#2 Sascha Henrichs - "Maze Slaughter - Prototype Presentation"

Sascha Henrichs will show off his current prototype to "Maze Slaughter", a rogue-like 'mass' slaughter game, where you fight you way out of a maze against hundreds of monsters in the most brutal way.

#3 Andreas Suika - "Unreal Engine and its Eco-System"

Unreal Engine Evangelist Andreas Suika will speak about the on-going evolution of the Unreal Engine & how Epic Games sees the future and how that will help developers succeed in today's games industry.

21:00 (9PM) - NETWORKING:

If you want to connect with other devs, show off your own projects or just have a casual chat with some friends, now is the time!

22:00 (10PM) - END

Keep in mind that, depending on the talks etc., this schedule may adjust a bit in the end. Start and End Time will remain the same though.
