On Set with Kodak's New Super 8 Camera

The Unreal Meetup Group Winnipeg is finally returning with a live event that we think will be worth the wait.

This is one we did not have on our bingo card as a topic for 2024 but we will be diving into analog film-making and showcasing how Kodak’s new Super 8 camera can integrate with ICVFX (In Camera Virtual FX) workflows and Unreal Engine.

On Thursday, August 22 (we know it is short notice) we hope you can join us at StudioLab xR. Ben Stouffer from Forte Films will demo us through the process of shooting with the Super 8 camera, capturing that timeless film look, and bringing those scenes to life on our 3D-tracked LED wall. This innovative combination opens up new possibilities for filmmakers, allowing for stunning in-camera effects and dynamic backgrounds that enhance storytelling.
