What we’re about

This is a monthly fiction book club for men who enjoy stories and want a relaxed, thoughtful space to talk about them and build friendships.

We read fiction. Science fiction, fantasy, mystery, thrillers, speculative novels, and the occasional genre-bender. No homework vibes. No literary gatekeeping. Just good books and good conversation.

How it works
We meet once a month.
Our first meeting of each cycle is a short, casual meetup where members nominate books and we vote on the next read.
Our second meeting is the discussion of that book.

Everyone will eventually get a chance to nominate a book for the group. You don’t need to be an expert reader. You just need to be curious and willing to show up.

Discussion style
We’re less interested in deciding whether a book was “good” or “bad” and more interested in why it worked, or didn’t, for different people. The goal is thoughtful conversation, not winning an argument or proving taste.

Atmosphere
This is meant to be friendly, low pressure, and welcoming. Some people may have a drink if the venue allows it, others won’t. Bars are not our default. Conversation and connection come first.

If you like stories, ideas, and meeting thoughtful people, you belong here.
