Book Discussion: Trust, by Hernan Diaz + Next Book Selection
Details
On Monday, March 30th we’ll be discussing Trust, a novel about wealth, power, memory, and the stories people construct to control how they are remembered.
Trust presents shifting perspectives, competing narratives and subtle revisions of what we think we understand. As we read, we’re invited to question not only the characters, but the structure of the story itself.
Our discussion will focus less on whether the book was “good” and more on what worked for you? What didn’t work for you? What did the structure of the novel make you notice about storytelling itself?
As always, you are welcome whether you finished the book, read part of it, or simply want to join the conversation and get recommendations for what to read next. There is no pressure here. We get together for thoughtful discussion, shared curiosity, and building friendships around fiction.
Looking forward to hearing how this one landed for you.
