Contact Olympic Athletic Club or get a trial pass on their webpage. You can join the Saturday session without signing up by arriving at 11am (15mins earlier to the class as a member )....make sure to also have enough additional time to complete the sign-up requirements for a day trial pass at front desk before the class, recommended arrival 10:30am, if you are not a member. Move into the Year of the Horse with Tai Chi and Qigong. All Saturdays in February (7, 14, 21 and 28th) 11.15pm - Beginner friendly class, with an option for more advanced practitioners to prepare for Tai Chi form practice. Participants will improve posture and balance; practice fall prevention and learn diaphragmatic breathing through repeated Qigong moving meditation and Tai Chi Warmup basics. 12:00pm - Participants may continue into an advanced practice or join at this time. This section includes Tai Chi walk and foundational leg/arm movements, teaching the details of the first four Yang Style Tai Chi 24 form movements. This class concludes with an introduction to the full Yang Tai Chi 24 Form. The trial pass also allows to test the entire gym as well as spa setup in locker rooms, but no swimming lane reservations.
