Let’s discover Germany’s wild north! We hike along endless stretches of unspoilt beaches framed by the baltic sea and ghostly forests. Together we wander through a UNESCO heritage forest sitting on top of dramatic chalk cliffs that plunge into the emerald waters of the Baltic Sea.WHAT ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS?
Jasmund National Park: Famous for containing Germany’s largest chalk cliffs & UNESCO heritage beech forest. Germany's smallest national park has formed an image of unspoilt wilderness. Here the largest contiguous beech forest in the Baltic Sea region is protected and in it an amazing variety of different habitats in a small space. More than 100 moors, lakes, springs and streams are framed by venerable beech forests.White Chalk Cliffs: The glowing white rocks consist of 70 million year old chalk. Nature has piled them up from the skeletons of countless single-celled creatures that the Cretaceous sea once left there. The highest point of the chalk coast is the Königsstuhl, which towers 118 meters above the beach.
Sassnitz: Sassnitz is a resort town on the German island of Rügen. It’s home to the submarine HMS Otus, now a naval museum.
