### 🌿 WHY GO?
Easter is one of the most meaningful times to walk the Camino.
As spring awakens Galicia, the Camino Portugués comes alive with blooming fields, soft green hills, flowing rivers, and ancient villages preparing for Easter traditions. This 100-kilometre pilgrimage from Vigo to Santiago de Compostela is not just a walk — it’s a journey of renewal, reflection, and quiet celebration.
Walking during Easter brings a special atmosphere:
church bells, pilgrim blessings, shared meals, and the powerful symbolism of rebirth that mirrors the Camino itself. Step by step, you move closer not only to Santiago, but also to clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of purpose.
### 🥾 WHY WALK THE CAMINO?
The Camino is more than a long walk — it’s a reset.
Whether you come for spiritual reasons, personal growth, or simply the love of slow travel, the Camino offers:
- Space to disconnect from daily noise
- Time to reflect, breathe, and walk mindfully
- A strong sense of community with fellow pilgrims
- The joy of earning your Compostela Certificate at Santiago Cathedral
Easter makes this journey even more special — a time traditionally associated with renewal, hope, and fresh beginnings.
### ✨ WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?
- A deep sense of accomplishment after completing 100 km
- Physical strength and mental clarity
- Meaningful conversations and shared moments with fellow walkers
- A renewed perspective and memories that stay with you long after the walk ends
- A truly immersive Camino experience, guided and supported every step of the way
### 🌸 WHY NOW? (EASTER SPECIAL)
Early April is one of the most beautiful seasons on the Camino:
- Mild spring temperatures
- Wildflowers and fresh greenery everywhere
- Longer daylight hours
- Easter traditions and ceremonies along the route
- A balanced pilgrim flow — lively yet not overwhelming
It’s the perfect time to walk, reflect, and celebrate life’s transitions.
