Blue Ridge Trail in the Angeles National Forest near Wrightwood

The sunshine we've been having has melted the snow and made the trails passable. We're off to hike the Blue Ridge Trail, near Wrightwood (about 1 1/2 hours away from Los Angeles)!
Hike Summary
- Moderate
- 4.2-mile out-and-back trail, with the trail beginning at the parking lot and ending at Blue Ridge Campground before turning back
- 1,105 ft elevation gain
Parking
Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required when parked by the Big Pines Visitor Center. You can pick one up at a local vendor. The Forest Service has a vendor locator. Or, alternatively, the hosts can pick one up for you if you let us know by Friday, May 17. They're $5 for a day pass.
Meeting Point
At the trailhead (map) which is located across the road from Big Pines Visitor Center (map) in the parking lot near the flush toilet restroom building.
