Short Story Society, week one

Hello everyone, our first meeting is on the calendar!
For the first week I'm putting together a handful of short stories that will total fewer than 15-20 combined pages. I figure that reading a few really short works and getting feedback would be a good way to gauge the sensibilities of the members within a shorter time frame. (For the second week, I do have a Stanislaw Lem short story picked out, and from there l'd like to have other members start to curate the reading material.)
