What we're about...

POWERtalk is an organization of not-for-profit clubs providing professional coaching in effective speaking and presentation skills.

At meetings members of the organisation deliver prepared speeches, practice interpretative reading, provide and receive education, learn how to speak off the cuff, and much, much more.

Through mentoring, supportive evaluation, and practice at regular club meetings, members receive an immediate and ongoing improvement in their ability to confidently address any audience.

For those seeking to gain a qualification, the optional Speakers Development Programme offers specific goals to receive recognition as a communicator.

Visitors can attend three meetings for free to check out what happens at club meetings. Visitors are welcome to continue to attend meetings at a cost of $6 per meeting until they decide if they want to join and when they do so, they will be placed on the speaking program.

Membership for the year is around $55. This is due on August 1st each year and is paid pro-rata depending on the month you join. Members find this is a very inexpensive investment for the opportunities offered.
