1st hike of 2026- Holbert Trail to Dobbins Lookout

Hey all,

Time to get out and get the blood pumping as part of those New Years resolutions! Holbert Trail to Dobbins Lookout is a 4.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Phoenix, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers, gives a great view of the city and is rated as moderate. Total incline is about 1000 ft. The hike should take between 2.5 to 3.5 hours. The trail is dog friendly.

Make sure to pack a couple bottles of water, snacks, sunscreen and a hat. For those who are interested, it'd be great to grab lunch afterwards.
