ORIENTEERING AT WEEKS WOODS on Saturday, November 19th
Event Location: Weeks Woods on Route 11A (Cherry Valley Road) in Gilford, NH
Map: Weeks Woods and Timber Hill Farm, 1:7500 scale, 3 meter contour intervals
Register and start between 10 AM and 1 PM. Courses close at 3 PM!
Courses: Something for everyone...Course setter Paul Regan will be setting White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green and Red courses. Electronic punching will be used.
Cost: Cost: UNO members are free. Members of other orienteering clubs pay $5. Non-members are charged $10. Small groups of family and friends may orienteer together for one entry fee. Group members may purchase additional maps for $2 each. Family maximum of $30.
Parking is across the street from the Weeks Woods trail head in the Gilford town offices complex parking lot. Exercise caution when crossing Route 11A.
Beginners instruction will be available throughout the registration window. Loaner compasses and loaner dibblers (electronic punching devices) will also be available.
It is hunting season in NH, so blaze orange is strongly recommended.
