That gap? We’re supposed to fill it.

I recently became a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America — and I’m telling you firsthand: this is real impact. Not talk. Not theory. Real influence on a life that needs it.
But here’s something you need to understand:

⚠️ After speaking with case managers, I learned there is a serious shortage of Black male mentors.

Because of that…

Black boys are the least selected to receive Big Brothers.
Let that sit for a second.

The ones who often need mentorship the most… are the ones waiting the longest.
