Walk at the Northern Rail Trail in Lebanon, NH

Hi everyone! I am planning a hike at the Northern Rail Trail in Lebanon, NH. The hike will be a moderate, 5-mile out-and-back walk starting at the Northern Rail Trail Access trailhead. The featured photo is one that I took during a previous visit. There are some very scenic views! Dogs are welcomed at this location, but must be kept on a leash.

Please bring the following gear for this event:
Water (at least 3 bottles)
Shoes (regular shoes or hiking shoes)
Insect Repellent
Snacks (as needed)

Parking for the Northern Rail Trail Access Trailhead is located along Riverside Drive in Lebanon, NH: please refer to the attached map pin for the parking location and driving directions. Please do not park at the Northern Rail Trail trailhead adjacent to Colburn Park! I cannot guarantee that there will be enough parking spaces and for those bringing guests, please carpool!

Plan to arrive at the Access trailhead for 9:30am. When I arrive, I will post a comment in the comments section to confirm my location. We will wait 15 minutes for friends to gather before starting the hike. I have allocated 4 hours for this event, but we will travel at our own pace. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you are concerned about the difficulty of this hike. I want friends to feel comfortable and assure that our pace won’t leave anyone behind.
