Optional Costume-Themed Hike at Boston Lot Conservation Area in West Lebanon, NH

Hello, everyone! I am planning a costume-themed hike at the Boston Lot Conservation area in West Lebanon in celebration of Halloween. Note that costumes are optional so no worries if you aren't comfortable dressing up! The hike starts out as a walk through a shady forest and then becomes a loop trail surrounding Boston Lake. We will be traveling via the Westside and Lakeside trails. It will be a 2.5-mile hike with an elevation gain of 374 ft. The featured photo is one that I took on a previous visit. There are some very beautiful views! Dogs are welcomed at this location, but must be kept leashed.

Please bring the following gear for this event:
Water (at least 2 bottles)
Hiking Shoes
Insect Repellent
Snacks (as needed)
**Optional: Costumes

We will meet at the Boston Lot Trailhead: the trailhead is located in a spacious dirt parking lot off of Main Street in West Lebanon, NH. Please refer to the included map pin for driving directions. Although the parking lot is spacious, I can’t guarantee that there will be enough parking spaces and for those bringing guests, please carpool!

Plan to arrive at the parking lot for 3:00pm. When I arrive, I will post a comment in the comments section to confirm my location. We will wait 15 minutes for friends to gather before starting the hike. I have allocated 2.5 hours for this event, but we may finish sooner and will travel at our own pace. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you are concerned about the difficulty of this hike. I want friends to feel comfortable and assure that our pace won’t leave anyone behind.
