Grady Hendrix is an American author, journalist, and ex-podcaster known for his best-selling novel Horrorstör, about a haunted Scandinavian furniture store. My Best Friend's Exorcism takes place in Hendrix's hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. He is one of the founders of the New York Asian Film Festival.
