### Daytrip to Gävle – Inauguration of the Giant Straw Goat 🐐

Inauguration time: 4:00 PM at Stortorget, Gävle
Join us for a full-day social and cultural outing to Gävle! We’ll spend the day exploring the city together—walking around in the morning, enjoying lunch, then visiting the county museum (optional) before gathering for the official inauguration of the famous Gävle Goat.

#### Plan for the day

• Travel: we meet at Uppsala Resecentrum and travel together. Buy your own UL ticket or ticket at Mälartåg.
• Morning: walk around Gävle city together
• Lunch: a relaxed meal together — a great chance to get to know each other
• Afternoon: option to visit the Gävleborg County Museum (120 SEK adult) or spend more time exploring the city
• 16:00: We join the official inauguration of the world-famous Gävle Goat at Stortorget, with live music and a festive atmosphere

#### Social focus

This is more than a sightseeing trip — it’s a social and cultural event. You’ll meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy the day as a group.

We’ll take the train from Uppsala (approx. 1h 10 min). Exact train time and meeting point will be shared in the WhatsApp group or by email.
