💛 Food & Connection in the Park – A Summery Potluck

Summer is here – and what better way to celebrate it than with a potluck picnic in the green?

You're invited to a warm, relaxed, and flavorful evening where food, connection, and human presence take center stage.

Everyone brings something to share, we lay out blankets in the grass, and let conversations and laughter flow freely.

🍲 What should I bring?
Bring a plant-based dish (meaning no meat, fish, eggs, or dairy).
It can be homemade, store-bought, or super simple – the main thing is that it’s plant-based and shareable.
You don’t have to be vegan – it’s enough to be open to trying something new and bringing something tasty to share!

🧺 What else to bring?
✔ A blanket to sit on
✔ Your own plate, cutlery, and mug (we want to avoid disposables)
✔ A water bottle or something to drink
✔ A friend – or just yourself! You won’t feel alone.

👋 Who is it for?
This is for everyone who wants to hang out in a relaxed, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere.
Maybe you’re new in town, looking to meet new people, curious about plant-based food, or just want to chill in the park with good company.
We keep it alcohol-free, respectful, and open-hearted.

💛 This event is part of the project 7,000 Hugs – Dare to Connect, aiming to reduce loneliness and create more genuine human moments in Uppsala.
Food becomes a bridge to laughter, conversation, and connection – and it’s these kinds of moments that build a warmer city.
