We only reserve a table if 10 or more people sign up by 18:00 on Thursday evening. If less than 10 have signed up, a table will not be reserved by the organizers and someone will need to reserve a table or plan an alternative location. Please check back before going to the Pub Friday.

If you plan to attend you must RSVP by 19:00 on Thursday when the table is reserved. No more RSVPs will be accepted after that time.

We place our orders at the bar and please keep in mind that the pub is a business and since they are making space for us on their busiest night of the week, it is polite to order at least one drink, non-alcoholic is totally fine.

A special event for our sketching group in June! Fiftieth stop will be a day trip to Stockholm and a visit at one of the most beautiful parks - Hagaparken in Solna.

Bring your favorite art materials.
Important: Recommended kit: Pencils/Colored Pencils/Liner/+ Sketchbook/Paper + Support for the paper

Agenda:
9.45 - 9.55 - Gather at the location - Outside Central Station in Uppsala.
9.56 - 10.44 - We will take the train to Solna, purchase our own ticket (keep in mind that for this train both UL + SL applies).

From Solna station, we will walk 15 min to Hagaparken.
Entrance: Haga Norra grindar (across the bridge from Hotel Giò).
11.00 - 13.30 - Walk around the park and sketch life on spot, feel free to pick your own subject.
13.30 - 13.45 - Taking pictures.
13.45 - 14.50 - Optional fika/lunch at a local café.

From Hagaparken, we walk back 15 min to Solna station.
15.15 - 16.04 (or around this time) - Take the train back to Uppsala, purchase our own ticket.

All levels are welcome and main language will be English.

Join us for a Swedish Language Walk at 17:30 with Ana and Maria.
We will walk together and speak Swedish in a relaxed and friendly setting. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, practise your Swedish, and build confidence in everyday conversation.
All levels are welcome. Beginners can practise in a supportive environment, and Swedish speakers are warmly invited to join and help others learn.
Meeting point: Outside the City Library

Day trip with the historic train on the railroad of Lennakatten

Join us for a special summer daytrip with Cult of Sweden, where we travel together with Lennakatten, a historic heritage railway, to the beautiful Fjällnora nature area outside Uppsala.
This trip combines local history, nature, and social time in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Along the way, your social host will share a short introduction in English about Lennakatten’s history and how this historic railway was saved and preserved by dedicated enthusiasts.
We will meet at 12:00 by track 10 at Uppsala Central Station. From there, we travel together by historic train, change at Selknä, and continue the last part by vintage bus to Fjällnora.
Once we arrive, there will be time to enjoy the area at your own pace or you can join your social host for company.
Fjällnora is a popular nature destination with a café and a swimming area, and you are also welcome to bring your own picnic. This makes the trip suitable both for people who want to relax and socialize, and for those who simply want to enjoy a unique outing in the Swedish summer landscape.
We return to Uppsala at around 18:00.
If the weather is bad, we will still go ahead with the trip and socialize.
