#38 Urban Sketching - Stockholm Day Trip - The Royal Armory

A special event for our sketching group in January! Thirty-eighth stop will be a day trip to Stockholm and a visit at one of the most beautiful museums in town - The Royal Armory (Livrustkammaren)

Important: Entrance to the museum will cost 180 kr. We will start with a guided tour in English, especially for our group, between 11:30 - 12:30. Afterwards we can draw anywhere we'd like in the museum.

Bring your favorite art materials.
Important: Watercolors are not permitted!
Recommended kit: Pencils/Colored Pencils/Liner/+ Sketchbook/Paper + Support for the paper

Agenda:
9.30 - 9.40 - Gather at the location - Inside Central Station in Uppsala.
9.44 / 9.56 - 11.00 - We will take the train to Stockholm, purchase our own ticket.

From T-Centralen, we will walk 15 min to the Royal Armory in Gamla Stan.
11.30 - 12.30 - Guided tour in English at the museum.
12.30 - 14.30 - We sketch life on spot, feel free to pick your own subject.
14.30 - 14.45 - Discussion, taking pictures.
14.45 - 16.30 - Optional fika/lunch at a nearby place (TBD).

From Gamla Stan, we walk back to T-Centralen.
16.56 - 18.00 (or around this time) - Take the train back to Uppsala, purchase our own ticket.

All levels are welcome and main language will be English.

Kindly RSVP only if you are certain you can make it. The RSVP will close the evening before the event. Please update your RSVP accordingly and as soon as possible to make room for those that can make it. Habitual "no shows" will be removed from the future sketching events.
