#44 Urban Sketching - Day Trip to Salsta Slott

A special event for our sketching group in April! Forty-forth stop will be a day trip to Salsta Slott, outside Uppsala.

Important: Entrance to the castle costs 120 kr (this includes English tour at 14:00 and exploring on our own). If you don't want to join the tour, the entrance is 80 kr. It's not mandatory to join the tour and there are buses back to Uppsala every hour.

Bring your favorite art materials.
Important: Watercolors are not permitted!
Recommended kit: Pencils/Colored Pencils/Liner/+ Sketchbook/Paper + Support for the paper

Agenda:
9.45 - 9.55 - Gather at the location - Top floor at the Uppsala Central Station.
9.55 - 10.27 - We will take the regional bus 823 to Salsta - UL ticket applies.

From Salsta stop, we will walk 11 min to the Castle.
11.00 - 12.45 - Sketching life on spot. Pick your own subject.
12.45 - 13.00 - Discussion, taking pictures.
13.00 - 14.00 - Fika/lunch at the castle café. You can also bring your own lunch, if you prefer.

14.00 - 15.00 - English tour of the castle
15.30 - 16.09 - We walk back to the bus stop and take bus 823 back to Uppsala Central Station.

On the same day, there will be a Bakluckeloppis between 11.00-16.00, if you want to check it out.

All levels are welcome and main language will be English.

Kindly RSVP only if you are certain you can make it. The RSVP will close the evening before the event. Please update your RSVP accordingly and as soon as possible to make room for those that can make it. Habitual "no shows" will be removed from the future sketching events.
