Daytrip: Kulturnatten Stockholm

Welcome to a social and cultural daytrip with Cult of Sweden.

On April 18, we will travel together from Uppsala to Stockholm for Kulturnatten, an annual cultural night when museums and cultural institutions across the city offer special evening programs. This is a great chance to experience Stockholm in a relaxed and social way, especially if you want to explore culture together with others and discover places you might not visit on your own.

Cult of Sweden is a community that promotes social and cultural activity. The aim is to create opportunities for people to explore Sweden together in a welcoming and respectful way.

For this trip, we will spend the evening mainly around Djurgården, one of Stockholm’s most beautiful and well-known cultural areas, home to several museums and green spaces. During Kulturnatten, the museums there create a special atmosphere with evening programs, performances, and activities, and entrance is free.

Plan for the day
We will meet at Uppsala Resecentrum, 2nd floor, at 15:00 and travel together by SL/UL train toward Stockholm. It is also possible to join the group later in Stockholm.

After arriving, we plan to start with a walk toward Djurgården, if the weather is nice. Before the museum programs begin, we will stop for something to drink or eat together. From around 18:00, when the evening programs start, we will move between different museums and cultural spaces in the area.

The host will leave Stockholm at around 21:00, but you are free to continue the evening together with others after that. Many Kulturnatten activities continue until around 24:00.
