AI will change our lives for ever. It is already showing up on our smart phones and our smart speakers. In the coming years it will move into every aspect of our daily lives.

The individuals building these AI technologies are overwhelmingly male. Which is a reflection of the broader tech industry. Unfortunately, this same pattern is repeated in the startup and venture capital sectors.

This is a first of a series of classes and workshops that start with AI education and skills. You don't need to be a technical whizz or math genius to participate.

We are fortunate to have Elena Sinel as our Chair and opening guest speaker. Elena is the Founder/CEO of Acorn Aspirations and is also the Founder/CEO of Teens in AI, which was launched at the United Nations, 'AI for Good Global Summit'.

We are also super lucky to have Dr. Aygul Zagidullina, Google, as Master of Ceremonies and a guest speaker. Dr Aygul is a Google Developer Expert and an Advocate for Women in Tech.

Additional amazing speakers include:

Vicky Zadeh, ex CEO Fits Me (Rakuten). Vicky is currently an independent consultant, business mentor and executive advisor to startups.

Pooja Nerurkar, Mobi Lab, UK Country Manager. Pooja is also Digital Marketing Lecturer and MBA.

This event is for women and those who identify as women. Capacity 160. A minimum of 25% of places will be free.

We will leverage the Socratic method/debate - a form of cooperative dialogue between individuals, involving asking and answering questions to stimulate thinking and new ideas.

We will also be borrowing from Isaac Asimov, "How Do People Get New Ideas". Specifically individual and group thinking.
