Tal’s Birthday Covered Dish & Cookout at Lake Hartwell

Happy, Happy Birthday to our dear leader Pastor Tal Groce!!! Tal is having another birthday, and we have planned some very special things!

We will celebrate with a covered-dish picnic on the lake an hour away this Saturday, May 17 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm under the Pavilion picnic shelter at

There will be piñatas, fishing, putt putt, basketball, softball, music, a Tal Toast, mixer games & so much more!

We'll grill out hamburgers and hot dogs, so please BRING A COVERED SIDE DISH, soda or dessert to share with the group.

**THERE IS A $5 PARKING FEE.

PLEASE BRING A CHAIR, BUG REPELLENT, BATHING SUIT & TOWEL, COVERED DISH & A $5 OR $10 DONATION.

PUTT PUTT IS $4.

BRING YOUR FISHING RODS. THERE IS A SNACK SHOP THAT SELLS FISHING BAIT. FISHING LICENSES CAN BE PURCHASED AT A NEARBY GAS STATION OR ONLINE @ https://www.dnr.sc.gov/fishing.html.

Please pre-register at ucsteam@charter.net, so that we will know how many burgers to bring.

Join us for outdoor games and sports, music, fellowship & some sweet surprises for Tal. Plan to toast/”roast” Tal during our mealtime, give him a handwritten card, play all of his favorite sports & games!

We will be there rain or shine & look forward to seeing you there, too! You may wish to carpool to save on gas & parking fees.

Bring: Mosquito repellent, a chair, swimsuit, towel, fishing gear, sunscreen, hat, sandals & sunglasses.

Cost: $10.00 minimum donation requested. We will also take up a birthday offering for Tal.
