ASPEN / SNOWMASS Fall Colors Weekend
Friday, September 19th thru Monday, September 22nd, 2025
Join Up The Creek for our long weekend getaway to Aspen/Snowmass to soak up the fall colors! Lots to do in Aspen! We are staying at The Stonebridge Inn in Snowmass Village. Located a short walk to the Village Mall and above the Base Village. Enjoy the spectacular Fall Colors!

Optional Activities:
Hike the North Star Nature Preserve
Hop a shuttle into Aspen for shopping & dining
Hiking at Maroon Bells Wilderness Area
Standup paddle boarding adventure
Take the small rapids at the lower Roaring Forks River
Biking along the Preserve
Optional Happy Hours

ACTIVITY DETAILS:
Friday Afternoon: Hike at Hanging Lake on the way up - see below
Welcome Party on Friday at 5:00 P.M. (included) at The Stonebridge Inn
Saturday: Group Breakfast (included) Then into Aspen for the Farmers Market. Then a hike along The Rio Grande Trail
Saturday Evening: Drinks on the Deck in Snowmass. Optional Dinner in Aspen – details to follow
Sunday: Breakfast on your own. Bike ride or hike the Maroon Bells Wilderness Area. Optional Dinner
Monday: Check Out. Meet at Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs for a hot springs soak on the way home

HANGING LAKE
Hike Hanging Lake on your way up. The permit is $12 per person and everyone in your car must have a permit. As of 4/25/25 there are plenty of permits available, but they go fast. Here's the link: Hanging Lake Trail Permits & Reservations - Official Page
This is a 1.2 mile hike - rigorous and rewarding with incredible scenery and waterfalls. It is approximately 2.5 hours from Denver and 1 hour from Snowmass.

ASPEN
Hop on a shuttle (FREE) from Snowmass to Aspen. Shop, Have Lunch, or Walk along the creek to view the amazing John Denver Tribute. Aspen has many noteworthy nightclubs and bars worth checking out!

BIKE - HIKE - PADDLEBOARD
Hike, bike, or standup paddleboarding (SUP) at the North Star Nature Preserve (also known as Stillwater), or taking on the slightly more challenging small rapids of the lower Roaring Fork near Carbondale on the Rolling Forks.

HIKE MAROON BELLS WILDERNESS AREA
The beautiful and iconic Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area is home to some of the most amazing scenery and adventures to be had in all of Colorado.

TRIP PRICING
A deposit is required at time of trip registration.
50% of balance is due 90 days from trip start.
50% of balance is due 45 days from trip start.

Double Occupancy: $370 - Deposit $100
Single Occupancy: $682 - Deposit $200
Non-Member, Guests & Meetup Members:
Double Occupancy: $420 - Deposit $100
Single Occupancy: $732 - Deposit $200
