This route is perfect for conversation, connection, and enjoying the outdoors without the intensity of a full mountain hike.

We’ll walk at a comfortable, social pace under mostly shaded forest canopy, take in lake views, cross the suspension bridge for a fun photo moment, and wrap up back at the trailhead.

Expect a beautiful mix of water, woods, and wide trails that make it easy to chat and meet new people.

After the hike, anyone who wants to continue the conversation is welcome to stop by The Gateway Canteen for drinks or snacks.
