Uptown MPLS Filmmakers - Script, shoot and edit Meetup

The 2nd Meetup of the newly formed Uptown Filmmakers Collective will be Monday July 1 at 7pm at Common Roots Cafe at 26th and Lyndale S in Minneapolis. We will be in the BACK ROOM. Our first meetup on June 24 was a great success! The next Meetup on July 1 is not just talk but action: plan, storyboard, film and edit one scene in one session meetup! Can we accomplish it? Come and find out! Don't know anything about filmmaking? That's ok come and learn. You are an expert? Come and participate! You never know where the next greatest talent or script will come from!

Do we have what it takes? We got all the ingredients for success! We got recent university film students grads, aspiring actors, editors, writers and directors! We do need to find one more thing though...

Sound engineer needed:
Does anyone know someone. Good filmmaking also means good sound! We need good audio so either a sound person with a boom with a shotgun mic, or does anyone have a digital audio recorder that the talent can hold and we can clap to sync up the sound in the edit?
