What we’re about:
Love writing? Love being uptown? So do we. An eclectic group of published and aspiring writers of all genres and styles who meet to write and give feedback about works-in-progress in an informal workshop setting.
A typical session:
- Introductions, new business
- Freewrite for 5-10 minutes based on a writing prompt
- Discuss a topic associated with writing (i.e. character development, rhythm & meter, publishing in literary magazines, etc.)
- Workshop discussion of members' writing
