Hikes, History and More-Champoeg Park

Details
Champoeg Park in St. Paul, Oregon, is a beautiful, scenic park spread over 678 acres and hosts a wonderful combination of nature, recreation and history. The park features a flat, paved trail along the Willamette River 1 mile in length, as well as a 4 mile trail to historic Butteville. Grounds also include an interpretive center, historic landmarks, pioneer cabin village and more. My plan is to meet, hike around the park, visit the historic attractions, and attend a re-enactment lecture in the Newell Pioneer Village at 2pm. The lecture is optional, free of charge but there is a suggested $5 donation. Park is an Oregon State Park requiring an OSP Pass (https://oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com/posProducts.do?contractCode=OR&posFilterCat=598053577) or $10 Entrance Fee at site. Hope you all can make it!
