Historic Sholes Mansion Tour + Fern Hill Wetlands Trails

It's time for more great history and a visit to a park!

Friends of historic Forest Grove are hosting an open house of the 1910 Sholes Mansion. Standing proudly at 5,000 sf, this Georgia Colonial style mansion features lots of technological advancements of the time period. Come see an Edison light bulb! Tix available at the door or at www.fhfg.org.

After the tour, we'll go to Fernhill Wetlands 3 mi away and enjoy cool, shaded trails beneath the canopy of native trees or walk along ponds teeming with wildlife. Fern Hill features approximately 4 mi of trails over 700 acres with a visitor center, restrooms and parking all free of charge. The park request that dogs be left at home, sorry.
