Historic A. T. Smith House + Fernhill Wetlands Hike

Details
It's time for another historic house tour followed by a walk through the wetlands! Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like. Come to both events or just one!
Friends of Historic Forest Grove is hosting an open house at the 1854 Taft House. This home is on the National Register of Historic Places and was the homestead of the first settler in the area. FHFG has been restoring this house and is delighted to host a tour.
Fern Hill Wetlands is a 700 acre nature preserve owned by the water treatment facility. The preserve is teeming with wildlife and features over 4 mi of trails. These trails are flat, either packed dirt or gravel in parts. We should see some fall color as well. Public restrooms and free parking are on site. **Sorry, no dogs allowed per park rules. Please see https://fernhillnts.org/rules for more info. **
