Cider Squeezin' and Blue Grass Jammin'-Woodland, WA
Details
Come see historic apple cider pressing at an 1876 Grist Mill! You may even get to help, and take home half a gallon of cider or more! The Cedar Creek Grist Mill in Woodland Washington features historic food processing events the last Saturday of each month. Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like. Pressing starts at 9:00am, and runs out around 2:00pm, when the apples disappear. A local band will play bluegrass music as well.
Built in 1876, the Mill has been restored and recently approved by the state of Washington as an actual food production site. A great place to explore, learn, and enjoy a sample or two. Recipe books also available. Grounds feature restrooms, and free parking.
