We will be playing Tales From the Loop RPG. This is a continuation of the previous week's story.
Before you read on, Google “Simon Stålenhag Tales from the Loop Art” and see the world this game is based on. If this doesn’t excite you, this game is not for you.
This game will have you playing as young teens in an alternate 80s town, and it’s up to you and your friends to get to the bottom of the mystery.
In this 1980s you live in Boulder City, Nevada. Your town is home to a massive Hadron collider (The Loop). This fantastic technology has provided advanced robotics but it has also opened fissures in time-space and distorted the laws of physics in your small town.
Summer break just began. You’re not sure how you are going to spend your summer, but you know after what you just saw and heard in the tree behind your house, it’s going to be anything but boring.
You don’t need to be a gamer or have played role-playing games before.
You must:
- be a team player
- enjoy telling stories and acting a bit silly.
- leave distractions at home.
- be on time.
- be committed and available to play weekly.
- be 21 years or older (it’s held in a board game bar - The Blue Shell in CDA.)
The rules are simple and easy to learn.
