Waking up the field

This is the time of year we start with the field prep. Job ONE is pulling up the plastic mulch and drip tape that was laid down last last year. We have a pretty cool piece of equipment that does a good job of unearthing the rows...but THEN we have to gather up each row. It is rewarding but definitely a situation where many hands make light work. So we are inviting you all out...one row takes about 30 minutes and there are 30 rows. Bring your little ones if you like and they can wander and run in the field and look at the river. Come for an hour, or how ever long you like. It is going to be a beautiful day and the farm is to be enjoyed -) Everyone who comes out will be an important part of getting our season off to a good start!
