Samhain Gathering - For Druids, Witches and Friends

Gather together to peacefully celebrate Samhain. The time of thinning veils, ancestor worship, and preparation for descent into the depths of the year.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, ceremonial or not. Bring a lantern, torch or candle and something to sit on. Hopefully it won't rain, but dress for the weather. Please bring your own food and drink.
This is a free event.

Starting at the entrance closest to Huize Frankendael / Restaurant Merkelbach. There are 6 entrances to this park to check it first :)

There will be a simple ritual during the gathering, to celebrate nature at Samhain, and to promote peace and safety throughout the world. If enough Druids are present, we may lead a more formal ceremony this time, but all are welcome! Nature-based spirituality is always the theme.

Accessibility: This is an outdoor gathering - the closest toilet facilities are on the Middenweg at local bars (about 5 minutes walk away). Feel free to bring a small folding seat if that helps you. We stand a while for the ceremony and generally sit on the ground (if dry enough) for some good conversation and sharing of snacks and drinks afterwards. Sometimes we sit on benches nearby. Mostly we go into the woodland, and often form our ceremony circle on a shingle path.
