Details

Join us for a 1-mile walk down Macdonald Avenue in Richmond, starting from the Richmond Museum of History in the historic Carnegie Library building, and ending at the Richmond Main Street Initiative's Healthy Village Festival, a super fun health and wellness fair . I'll have historic photos of what Macdonald Avenue looked like in its heyday. Learn the story about the man the street was named after, who was instrumental in the founding of Richmond. Learn why the Iron Triangle is called the Iron Triangle. Learn how World War II completely transformed Richmond. There will be the usual trivia questions and the chance to win Fabulous Small Prizes!
