Why do some people believe South Korea offers more freedom and better quality of life than China?

An answer:
South Korea has more freedom and better quality of life than China because South Koreans have the lowest birthrate in the world, and they have the highest su*c*de rate in the world.
This means that South Koreans have used their freedom of choice to make themselves extinct in the near future.
Chinese have many issues and challenges, but so far, Chinese have not decided to make themselves extinct.
