What we’re about
Urban & Rural is a community that focuses on day trips across The Netherlands and West Germany, and we organize walks in the area of Arnhem-Nijmegen. Activities that we like to host are for example city walks, nature hikes, photo walks, and traveling together to a (far) place where we go to places like museums, cafés and restaurants. We want to provide a safe environment for people to connect and to create friendships. We care for relaxation and mental health, and we also aim to prevent isolation and burnout. We want our events to be easy accessible and are in principle low-budget friendly. Our events are open for Dutch and International people, as English is our main spoken language.

Autumn walk Arnhem Sonsbeek & Zypendaal
Welcome to the event page of the Autumn walk in Arnhem Sonsbeek & Zypendaal, taking place on Sunday November 23rd. This is a casual walk meant for meeting new people, creating meaningful connections, while also enjoying the outdoors. We're going to Sonsbeek and Zypendaal, which are well known city parks of Arnhem with many hills and diverse nature. Expect this to be a very colorful area in autumn!
Practical information
- The meetup is between 13:45-14:00 at Arnhem CS, near Burger King. We’ll start the walk from there.
- A walk like this is at a regular pace and usually takes about 2-3 hours, including breaks. We might take a break at a café if there's enough interest in it.
- B-YOU: Bring your own umbrella, in case of rain. If the weather is really unacceptable we could cancel or postpone the event.
- Joining this event is free! If you like to support this community, you can make a donation after the event.
