What is Urban Sensing Lab

The Urban Sensing Lab is a platform for those passionate about digital innovation and city building to come together, share ideas, and inspire one another. It is organised based on the GovTech NL Hub.

What is GovTech NL
GovTech NL stimulates the civic empowerment of individuals, facilitates the development of innovative solutions, fosters positive interactions in the public domain, and plays a leading role in shaping the future of civic government innovation. By bringing together diverse stakeholders and driving collaboration, GovTech NL is poised to make a significant and lasting impact on the relationship between governments and the public, ultimately creating a more transparent, inclusive, and citizen-centric governance model.

The GovTech NL Hub is organized by The Hague Tech and WorldStartup with support from the Gemeente Den Haag, Provincie Zuid-Holland, YES!Delft, PLNT Leiden, Digicampus, Isuna, Antea Group Nederland, Centric, The Impacters and others.

How to participate
Participation is FREE for anyone who is interested. Sigh up to this meetup to save a spot. Come hungry, because we will have pizza ready for you during the session. All the materials will be provided during the session, you might want to bring your laptop but it is not mandatory.
Have you missed one or more previous sessions, don’t worry, just join this meetup and we will make sure to onboard you during the session.

Meetup Description
Welcome to this launch meetup. In this session, you will learn more about the Urban Sensing Lab, meet the organizers, and connect with other enthusiastic participants. We will start by exploring the challenges that people face when living in the city. All participants are welcome to work on their ideas and challenges, and draw inspiration from personal experiences.

The next meetup will focus on building teams based on the most popular challenges identified by participants. We will have two inspiring speakers to help you dive deeper into the topic of urban sensing and kickstart brainstorming.
