What we’re about

We are the official chapter of the international Urban Skerchers (USk) organization in Tokyo area. We organize urban sketching events within the Tokyo (and its sub-urban) region.

The Urban Sketchers Manifesto:

  1. We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
  2. Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
  3. Our drawings are a record of time and place.
  4. We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
  5. We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
  6. We support each other and draw together.
  7. We share our drawings online.
  8. We show the world, one drawing at a time.

私たちは、東京エリアにおける国際的なアーバンスケッチャーズ（Urban Sketchers、略称USk）組織の公式支部です。東京およびその近郊地域でアーバンスケッチングのイベントを開催しています。アーバンスケッチャーズのマニフェスト

  4. 私たちは目にした光景に忠実であることを大切にします。
  5. 私たちはあらゆる種類の画材を使い、それぞれの個性あるスタイルを大切にします。
  6. 私たちはお互いを支え合い、一緒に描きます。
  7. 私たちは自分たちの作品をオンラインで共有します。
  8. 私たちは一枚の絵を通して、世界にその姿を伝えます。
