Markham City Sketches: Weekly Urban Explorations

We are getting together this weekend for another session of Markham City Sketches. If you enjoy capturing the character of our city on paper and appreciate the company of fellow sketchers, you are more than welcome to join us. We will be spending a few hours finding interesting corners of Markham to draw, whether that is a quiet streetscape, a local landmark, or the bustle of a public square. There is no pressure to produce a masterpiece; the goal is simply to get outside, observe our surroundings, and enjoy the process of sketching in good company.

This event is open to everyone regardless of your skill level or the materials you prefer to use. Whether you are a seasoned artist with a full kit or someone who just likes to carry a simple pen and a small notebook, you will fit right in. We usually take a little time at the end of the session to share our sketches and chat about what we noticed while drawing.
