About us
This group is for anyone who has taken an urban sketching workshop or completed a bootcamp and is looking for a consistent space to keep the momentum going. We know how easy it is to let the sketchbook gather dust once the structured lessons end, so this is simply a dedicated time and place to sit together, observe our surroundings, and put pen to paper. There is no formal instruction here; instead, we rely on the accountability of the group to help us stay committed to our practice.
We meet regularly to head out to different spots around the city, spend an hour or two sketching, and then gather briefly at the end to share our work if you feel like showing it. Whether you are still working on your perspective or just trying to get comfortable sketching in public, you are welcome to join us. The goal is just to show up, get some miles on our pens, and enjoy the process of documenting the city together.
